JR-Inside out project 2

I am a multidisciplinary visual artist who is interested in exploring art forms and visual language that can contribute in making the world a more compassionate place. I have a BFA degree in Fine Arts from OCAD U with a previous degree in engineering. In addition, I have studied painting in Dundas Valley School of the Arts with well known painting artist Gordon Perrier and have been awarded the Gordon Perrier memorial scholarship by DVSA. In addition, I have had several exhibitions in Toronto, Hamilton and Mississauga, including, GradEx in OCAD U, a solo show in Gallery 1313 in Toronto and a yearly group exhibit in Mercedes Benz Financial as well as two group exhibitions in McMaster Innovation centre in their yearly exhibition” Art in the Workplace”. My main areas of focus is exploration of therapeutic potential of creative expression and creating art that celebrates the beauty of nature and invites for protection of natural environment.
