Blessed by the Chief

“There comes that mysterious meeting in life when someone acknowledges who we are and what we can be, igniting the circuits of our highest potential.”-Rusty Berkus

I feel very honored and blessed that David General, the Indigenous Visual Culture mentor and advisor in OCADU, came to my exhibition. unnamed-2He generously spent a lot of time to give me amazing feedback  as well as words of encourgament and wisdom.  He basically made my year, and perhaps many years to come. He is one of those special leaders that brings out the best in people and makes the eyes of everyone around him shine.

In addition to his mentoring and advising role in OCADU, David is also a well known Sculptor, and a former Chief of Six Nations of the Grand River, as well as a member of the Ontario Art Council board of directors and much more.
